Simple Coloring

Alternating strong links reveals contradictions or shared eliminations.

How to find it

Build a chain for one candidate using strong links.
Alternate two colors along the chain.
Eliminate a color that contradicts itself, or remove the digit from cells seeing both colors.

Logical demonstration

The violet cells represent the pattern; the gold cell represents the resulting placement or elimination. Verify every highlighted candidate belongs to the required houses before acting.

Using cells that do not share the required row, column, box or peer relationship.
Removing a candidate before confirming every occurrence in the pattern.
