A digit appears in exactly two aligned cells across two rows or columns.

How to find it

Choose a candidate digit and scan rows.
Find two rows where it occurs in the same two columns.
Eliminate the digit from other cells in those columns.

Logical demonstration

The violet cells represent the pattern; the gold cell represents the resulting placement or elimination. Verify every highlighted candidate belongs to the required houses before acting.
